A double round robin runs the full schedule twice. The second time through, home and away flip, so every team hosts every opponent once. The two meetings between the same teams are a full cycle apart, so nobody plays the same team two weeks in a row. With 8 teams that's 56 games over 14 weeks.
Every team plays every other team twice, once at home and once away. At one round per week, this is how long the season runs.

All 10 rounds for 6 teams, home team listed second. The second half mirrors the first with home and away flipped, so every pair meets once at each field.
The second meeting between two teams is always at the other team's field, so every team hosts every opponent once.
Teams meet the second time a full cycle later, never in back-to-back rounds.
Each team gets two byes, one in each half of the season, never in consecutive rounds.
If the season is too long, have each team play every other team once. Make a single round robin.
Every team plays every other team twice, usually once at home and once away. It's the most common format for league seasons where every team should host every opponent.
Twice as many as a single round robin: teams × (teams − 1). Six teams play 30 games, 8 teams play 56 and 10 teams play 90.
Two full cycles. With an even number of teams that's 2 × (teams − 1) rounds, so 8 teams need 14. With an odd number it's 2 × teams, because of the byes.
Not with this generator. The second meeting comes a full cycle later, and home and away flip, so the same two teams never meet in consecutive rounds.
A single round robin has every pair meet once. A double round robin has every pair meet twice, once at each team's home field, which makes standings fairer but doubles the length of the season.
