1workflow

Evaluations, averages, drafts, and team formation stay connected.

3fairness checks

Calibration, outlier resistance, and guardian/coach bias handling.

5+input types

Scores, numbers, timed results, notes, dropdowns, and multi-selects.

From signups to draft night

One clean path from ratings to rosters

The evaluation flow most leagues need is already built in. Admins control the setup, evaluators get a simple scoring surface, and coaches get usable rankings when it is time to form teams.

01

Design the scorecard

Build the exact form your league uses

Create skill groups like hitting, fielding, athleticism, notes, or overall score. Use scores, times, notes, dropdowns, and division-specific visibility.
02

Open the session

Invite evaluators and control the window

Lock evaluations before the event, hide averages while scoring is live, then unlock the field when evaluators are ready to enter ratings.
03

Score from the field

Every evaluator works from the mobile app

Coaches and volunteers enter ratings on their phones. Scores save locally, sync to the cloud, and replace paper sheets that get lost or exposed.
04

Trust the average

Rating IQ keeps results fair

Normalize strict and generous evaluators, protect against outliers, and remove confirmed guardian or coach bias from all-evaluator averages.
05

Form teams

Turn ratings into drafts or balanced rosters

Use the same evaluation data in Team Builder or Draft Manager, with siblings, requests, frozen players, and team rules respected.

Evaluation day tools

Replace clipboards without dumbing down your scorecard

Bravara supports the messy reality of league evaluations: paper history, registration exports, sport-specific skills, private notes, timed measurements, and different divisions that need different forms.

Custom categories with evaluator instructions
Score, timed, note, dropdown, and multi-select fields
Division visibility and role-based category permissions
Spreadsheet imports for previous ratings and registration data
Photo import for physical evaluation sheets
Lock evaluations and hide averages until draft day

Rating IQ

Fair averages need more than arithmetic

Evaluator calibration

A strict evaluator and a generous evaluator can both be useful. Rating IQ normalizes scoring styles so one person's scale does not overpower the room.

Outlier protection

Median and trimmed-mean logic reduce the damage from accidental or strategic extreme scores when there is enough evaluator depth.

Bias removal

When a player's guardian or coach is also an evaluator, Bravara can exclude that linked score from the all-evaluator average when other ratings exist.

After evaluations

The ratings do not die in a spreadsheet

Use evaluation scores inside Draft Manager for live coach picks, or let Team Builder create balanced rosters automatically while respecting siblings, frozen players, friend requests, and custom league rules.

Questions league admins ask

Built for the whole evaluation season

Can evaluators score players from their phones?

Yes. Bravara supports mobile player evaluations so coaches and volunteers can enter scores from the field instead of using paper sheets or spreadsheets.

Can we hide scores from evaluators during evaluations?

Yes. League admins can hide evaluator averages, lock evaluations before or after an event, and control which evaluator scores are included in the all-evaluator average.

Can Bravara use ratings from a previous season?

Yes. Ratings belong to the season where they were collected, and Bravara can use past-season ratings when forming teams for a new season.

Does Bravara only handle evaluations?

No. Evaluation data flows into Draft Manager and Team Builder so leagues can run live drafts or automatically create balanced teams from ratings and player data.
