The application saved us a significant amount of time and contributed to forming balanced teams, which is always a win for our league. I also want to give a huge shoutout to Brian and Mike. The level of customer service they provided was second to none.

How to switch from SportsEngine

SportsEngine exports members, season teams, registrations, games, and payments to CSV from its help center tools. Import the player export into Bravara and you're ready to run evaluations. Many leagues keep SportsEngine or another system for registration and use Bravara for everything after it.

What the PlayMetrics sale means for SportsEngine leagues

PlayMetrics, backed by Genstar Capital, closed its purchase of SportsEngine on May 1, 2026. PlayMetrics had already merged with Stack Sports, which runs Sports Connect, in June 2025. One company now owns all three platforms. No product roadmap or migration plan has been announced, so leagues can't yet know which app they'll be on in two years.

The other options

Other SportsEngine alternatives worth a look.

Some programs should stay close to what SportsEngine does. If your governing body requires memberships and eligibility, or you need registration and a website from one vendor, one of these may suit you better.
